Martin Bech

October 1, 2023—Acadian Companies Chairman & CEO Richard Zuschlag announced that General Counsel Martin Bech has been promoted to the role of Vice President. He is responsible for the legal and compliance functions of Acadian’s six divisions, including contract review, legal research, employment law, acquisition strategies and HIPAA compliance.

“I am very pleased for my new role as Vice President,” Bech said. “I’m excited to help lead my department and our dedicated employees as Acadian continues to grow and prosper as one of our nation’s leading EMS, safety and security services providers.” 

Bech joined Acadian in 2021. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, oil & gas, SEC and NASDAQ regulatory compliance, insurance coverage and risk management, corporate finance and general business and human resources law. Bech was active in the healthcare industry having served for over nine years on the Board of Trustees of the Lafayette General Health system.

Bech holds two bachelor’s degrees from LSU, one in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations and a second in French. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans.  He began his legal career in the New Orleans office of Phelps Dunbar and has held executive roles in several private and a publicly-traded company in Louisiana.
