Acadian Ambulance Director of Integrations Eric Stricklin has been appointed to the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council’s (SETRAC) Board of Directors for a three-year term. He will serve as the Harris County EMS representative on the board.
SETRAC’s mission is to develop and sustain a powerful coalition of providers, responders, and other healthcare related partners united together to save lives and improve health outcomes through research, education and collaboration. It covers more than 30 counties across Southeast Texas.
Stricklin joined Acadian Ambulance Texas in 2016, and is an experienced EMS and public safety leader, with more than 27 years of service across public and private emergency medical services. As Director of Integrations, he supports strategic growth, operational integration, regional partnerships, emergency preparedness, and large-scale EMS initiatives.
Stricklin’s appointment to the SETRAC Board of Directors follows more than 20 years of active involvement with SETRAC and regional emergency healthcare preparedness efforts.
His public service leadership includes serving as the inaugural Board President of Harris County Emergency Services District No. 50. He also helped found the East Harris County Emergency Communications Center (ECOM) and served as the inaugural Board President of its Joint Powers Board, helping establish a regional emergency communications and dispatch system that has grown to serve Emergency Services Districts and fire departments throughout East Harris County, as well as the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Channel Industries Mutual Aid (CIMA).
Most recently, Stricklin played a key leadership role in Acadian Ambulance’s operational support of the City of Houston and Houston Fire Department during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, helping coordinate large-scale EMS resources, regional preparedness, operational integration, and public-private response efforts.
