Baton Rouge native Jodi Conachen has been named Regional Vice President for Acadian Ambulance’s Louisiana East region, effective September 14.
In this role, Conachen will oversee regional operations across Acadian’s Bayou, Capital, Northshore, and Orleans service areas, expanding partnerships with local healthcare facilities and first responder agencies while maintaining high standards of emergency medical care.
Conachen joins Acadian after serving as Chief Operating Officer at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, where she led the development and execution of the Cancer Center’s strategic plan. Under her leadership, the Cancer Center established the first adaptive radiation program in Louisiana, added eight medical oncology and infusion clinics across central and north Louisiana, and opened two new breast surgery and imaging locations.
Prior to this, Conachen held public relations, marketing, and communications positions in several sectors, including healthcare, government, and consumer products.

Conachen holds a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Mass Communication from Louisiana State University.
