Kelle Daigle spent nearly 20 years contributing to Acadian’s growth and success. Starting in 2001, Kelle became the first external hire in the MSC department and held several roles, including Manager of Customer Service and Collections, Safety Rep/Recruiter, and Regional Recruiter.
In 2006, Kelle moved to Austin for her husband’s career and resigned from her position at Acadian. After an acquisition, she returned to Acadian and launched her recruiting career.
She was promoted to Administrative Operations Supervisor, and played a key role in expanding Acadian’s presence across Texas, overseeing recruitment from Houston to Beaumont. From there, she took on additional opportunities to oversee the communications center, participate in business development efforts, and provide leadership and guidance during natural disasters.
“Acadian was one of the most incredible and rewarding times of my life. I was so blessed to have so many great leaders that I took on as mentors. Without them, I would not be where I am today,” Kelle said.
In 2020, Kelle left Acadian to pursue a new opportunity in the travel industry and focus on her family, but she remains in the talent acquisition field. She now works for Vallen Distribution as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in their Life Safety division.
Kelle is proud of her involvement in veteran recruitment, having been recently elected Vice-Chair of Recruitment for the SALUTE employee resource group. This group focuses on supporting veteran associates and has helped Kelle expand her career further into military recruitment.
Kelle has also been recognized for her achievements in recruitment, including her efforts in placing 30 firefighters for a new contract at an LNG facility in Port Arthur, TX, in 2024, and placing 20 service technicians for a large copper mine in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2025.
Outside of work, Kelle has been rescuing dogs since 2004 and stays active in fostering, transporting, and fundraising events. She enjoys spending time on the lake with her husband and friends. “In the summers, we’re usually on the lake with our jet skis or taking a fun-filled vacation,” she shared.
Kelle’s advice for new Acadian employees: “Grab a mentor or three and let them help guide you onto success. Be professional, and respectful, and know that you are making a difference.”
