Aflac offers electronic enrollment, which enables Acadian employees to enroll themselves into whichever Aflac policies they desire, on their own schedule. The process is simple and does not require a scheduled meeting with an insurance agent. Your deadline to enroll is 30 days after your date of hire. Benefits will be effective on the 1st of the month following 30 days of hire, provided enrollment is completed timely. For those who enroll during open enrollment, policies will be effective on January 1 or once approved by Aflac.
