Acadian Companies was honored as a distinguished donor for 2018 by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Foundation.
Acadian Chairman & CEO Richard Zuschlag accepted the award on behalf of the company at the foundation’s celebration in November, saying, “This recognition extends to all Acadian employees who joined together in support of the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation capital campaign. I sincerely appreciate the financial commitment to and continued support of our local university and its athletic programs.
“It makes me incredibly proud to represent Acadian Companies at these functions on behalf of our many dedicated Ragin’ Cajuns supporters,” he continued.
Zuschlag received the award from UL Lafayette Director of Athletics Dr. Bryan Maggard.
The UL Lafayette Foundation’s Distinguished Donors Celebration is hosted annually by the foundation’s Board of Trustees. The donations directly contribute to the success of the University, faculty, students and community. Support and loyalty from donors significantly impact and inspire academic and research excellence, athletic distinction and the Ragin’ Cajuns tradition.
