At the Acadian Companies annual meeting on June 2, Danielle Solomon was recognized as the Acadian Companies ESOP Employee-Owner of the Year. The award was presented by Acadian’s ESOP Committee Chair, Cameron Cormier.

Solomon, a resident of La Vernia, TX, is a Business Development Coordinator. She joined Acadian Ambulance as an EMT before switching to a business development role. She currently oversees the contracts for the VA and Baptist Hospital System, along with many other facilities and entities.

Solomon has been to several ESOP Association chapter seminars, and last year she attended the ESOP Association’s National Conference.

“Danielle loves being a part of ESOP and gets others involved as well,” Cormier said. “The ESOP program solidified her decision to work for Acadian over any other company when she chose her career path.”

Acadian instituted an ESOP in 1993, giving employees the opportunity to own private shares in the company. Its employees currently own approximately 80% of Acadian stock.
