The National EMS Academy recognized Instructor Walter Siefford as its Employee of the Year. He was presented with his award at Acadian Companies’ annual meeting and award ceremony earlier this month by Vice President Taylor Richard.
This recognition celebrates Siefford’s exceptional dedication, passion, and significant contributions to EMS education.
As a dedicated and passionate educator at the National EMS Academy campus in Lake Charles, Siefford has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence. His innovative teaching methods and profound knowledge have significantly elevated the skills and understanding of his students, contributing to the overall advancement of the department.
Beyond the classroom, Siefford has played a pivotal role in enhancing the reputation of the National EMS Academy within the Lake Charles community. Through his proactive engagement in outreach initiatives, he has fostered strong relationships and increased awareness of the Academy’s vital role in preparing future EMS professionals.
“Walter’s positive influence extends far beyond the immediate impact on his students,” Richard said. “By consistently providing invaluable mentorship, readily accessible resources, and fostering collaborative learning opportunities, he has cultivated a culture of growth and shared success within the Academy. His commitment to nurturing the next generation of EMS professionals is truly immeasurable.”
