At the Acadian Companies annual meeting on May 9, Mark Brown was recognized as the Acadian Ambulance 2025 Dispatcher of the Year. He was presented with his award by Acadian Ambulance President Justin Back.
Brown has been with Acadian for 18 years and works out of the Southeast Texas communication center. Prior to his role in Dispatch, he was a Critical Care Transport Paramedic. In addition to his dispatch responsibilities, Brown is an active member of the company’s Critical Incident Stress Management team for the Southeast Texas region. His guiding principle is “Choose Joy”, a philosophy he exemplifies and encourages among his coworkers daily. He attributes his personal and professional accomplishments to his unwavering faith.
“Mark demonstrates an ability to collaborate effectively, and he fosters camaraderie with his colleagues through his insightful humor,” Back said. “His versatility within the CommCen and his positive contributions to the work environment are highly valued.”
