At the Acadian Companies virtual annual meeting, Purchasing Coordinator Jennifer Hollier was recognized as the support department 2021 employee of the year. She was presented with her award by Acadian Vice President and CAO Blaise Zuschlag.

Hollier has been with Acadian for 10 years and is a member of the materials management department. As purchasing coordinator, she obtains quality and cost-effective products and services to meet recurring inventory needs and special orders for the company’s divisions.

Hollier was nominated for the award because she has exceeded expectations in her role and has stepped up to every challenge presented to her. She was especially nominated for going above and beyond in assisting Safety Management Systems to secure a large contract earlier this year. In a matter of days, Hollier was able to organize and supply the project site with the needed materials.

Her focus, management skills and ability to be proactive in any situation enables her to deliver on time every time. She was also nominated for her dedication to securing cost savings and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. She often brings a morale boost through her positive attitude.

Materials Manager Ken Blanc said Jennifer’s work has shown her true strengths for Acadian. “Jennifer is everything you would want in an employee. I’m proud to have worked with her for all these years.”

Acadian’s support departments assist all six divisions, and the winner is chosen from all employees in Acadian Client Services, Accounting/Payroll/Payables, Electronics, Executive Assistants, Facility Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Information Technology, Materials Management, Runners, Legal/Risk Management, Mobile Health, HSE, Wellness and Marketing/Public Relations.
