January 7, 2016—Safety Management Systems, LLC (SMS), through a recent transaction with Petrofac, will now establish a Houston training facility and will begin offering Major Emergency Management (MEM) training and additional health, safety and environmental (HSE) training.
SMS, based in Lafayette, Louisiana, and a sister company to Acadian Ambulance, is a provider of highly rated and comprehensive training programs for the oil & gas industry, including OPITO and API-approved courses. They offer additional training facilities in Shreveport, Louisiana, and San Antonio, Texas, as well as providing on-site training for customers around the world.
